cess waits for no man or woman, and who ever heard of coming out on top just by sitting around and waiting for success and achievements to knock and your door and invite you to the party.
Should you wait for your boss to notice you and give you a raise or a promotion? What about in areas of life and love? Liking someone does not mean you stand around and hope they can read the mental messages you have been torpedoing at them at an alarming rate everyday.
They might notice how you look at them, how you smile at them or even the casual way you ask them to join you for lunch as a pre cursor to something special. No one would rather wait in the wings for the person of their dreams to finally realise that you are that special someone for them and that they have been a fool for not noticing you. The world does not work that way and you should not either. I am afraid to say that those who wait will be fated to wait forever. This is not a Hollywood movie where you plant your seed and wait for the magic beanstalk to grow.
You have to go out and get the things you want in life. You have to make the opportunities that will give you the edge over other people. You have to want to learn new things and sign up for new courses. You will have to grab that someone by the hair, stare deep into their eyes and tell them that you love them. What do you have to lose? Would you rather wilt away into the rest of your days wondering what ifs’ aloud to yourself or would you rather be able to say that you gave it your best.
You might not even be sitting there, you could be in your new corner office, in your flashy new car or sharing your life with the partner of your dreams. Good things come to those who realise it is never too late.
