Jonah of course decides to do the right thing and confesses to Ella before breaking up with her. He says Ella is not the one for him and Ella although in tears handles it pretty well. Other Loose Ends
For this reason some story lines did not get wrapped up including David being blackmailed. The other story line being that Drew is dying due to a heart valve he was given by Dr. Mancini.
Jonah and Riley attend a college reunion in this episode. They shock their former classmates with the news of their break-up which leads to the couple revisiting old feelings.

Lauren and David Get Back Together
In the most boring story line in Melrose Place history Amanda is seeking out a piece of stolen artwork so she can sell it.
The girl he rejected is ticked off and tells her father who is involved in crime. Her father then tells David that he will now be working for him doing robberies or Lauren's life will be in danger.
The two then decide they are no better than each other and this means they belong together however this leads to some very big consequences for David.
The episode starts with David proclaiming he can't forgive Lauren for her call girl past however when Lauren is at a party at David's club she runs into the blond that has been blackmailing David to be her boyfriend. Lauren is upset as she thinks David has moved on,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], David however confesses that he hasn't and has only slept with the girl once because she blackmailed him.
Previously on Melrose Place viewers had seen Lauren try to win back David's affection,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Drew discover Dr. Mancini was up to no good as usual and Ella being framed for fraud,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], all of these story lines were covered in the latest and potentially final installment of Melrose Place.
All the reminiscing at the reunion ends with Jonah and Riley sharing a kiss. While Riley is shocked by their actions Jonah wants to reconcile. Riley who is now happy with Drew tells Jonah she wants a different life than what Jonah can offer her.
Although it is unlikely Melrose Place will be renewed for a second season due to low ratings and a full fall schedule there is still a small possibility it may be picked up.
Of course Ella foils her plot and finds the painting first and gets Amanda hauled off to jail by the FBI.
