tland General Electric Company (PGE) is a single integrated electric utility engaged in the generation, purchase, transmission, distribution and retail sale of electricity in the State of Oregon. PGE is also engaged in the sale of electricity and natural gas in the wholesale market to utilities and energy marketers in the Western US. Its service area allocation is of about 4,000 square miles, which covers the entire Oregon and 52 incorporated cities. The company has seven hydroelectric plants, five thermal plants and wind farms with a total combined generating capacity of 2,609 megawatts (MW).
