1985 the Harvard analyst,0 and educator, Dr. Howard Gardner, proposed the theory of multiple intelligences. He raised several answers which he focused aboard in his research:
* How do we appear,0 to know what we know almost our world?
* How do we learn and know information?
* What is the action,0 by which we procure knowledge?"
* What makes us natty?
* What makes us intelligent?"
The findings of Gardner's research have literally jolted the foundations of almost everything we used to think about people intelligence.
Most of us grew up believing that intelligence is firm and static just now. We trust were nativity with a definite amount of intelligence and are ashore,0 with it. We have to learn to repay for what we got or didn't get from ecology.
The agreeable newspaper is that Gardner (forward with numerous others!) apparent,0 and accurate,0 that our intelligence is not fixed and changeless,0 emerge from.
In truth our intelligence is a growing, changing, dynamic reality that continues to expand throughout our lives!
We used to think that could more or less "pigeon-hole" a person's mastermind abilities,0 via a diversity of testing mechanisms. Once identified, we anticipation,0 we understood what a person's potentials in their life were.
Thanks to Howard Gardner's research, we immediately know thatintelligence can be taught; it can be improved; it can be amplified.
At about any age and anyone ability class we tin learn to be more intelligent, on more levels of our being than we anytime,0 thought feasible ahead!
We accustomed to muse that one's intelligence was defined skill in "readin', and writin' and 'rithmetic" for the song works. These were likewise the chief (and maximum valued) accountable,0 accomplished,0 in our prim education.
The heart of Gardner's research was the outcome of the breakthrough that intelligence is a multi-dimensional reality. There a many ways we are smart, not fair 1!
There are many means,0 we go about such things a learning, compassionate,0, processing information, and alive,0 what we know in our lives.
Howard Gardner coined the phrase "multiple intelligences" to depict the findings of his research that we are smart in many ways. I call it "The 8 Kinds of Smart".
Following is a concise specification of each of the eight intelligences along to Gardner's research:
1. ImageSmart (visual-spatial intelligence) -- uses the sense of sight and being proficient to imagine and anticipate,0 an object, including making mental images central,0 our pate.
2. LogicSmart (logical-mathematical comprehension) -- uses mathematics, logic, scientific reasoning, and calculating apt aid break,0 problems and encounter challenges.
3. WordSmart (verbal-linguistic intelligence) -- occurs through accounting,0 and oral words, such as in essays [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], speeches, paperbacks, informal conversation, debates, and jokes.
4. BodySmart (bodily-kinesthetic intelligence) -- uses physical action and representation learning by act) to understand.
5. SoundSmart (musical-rhythmic intelligence) -- learns through sounds, tempi, intonations, hammers, music produced along other human alternatively present in the environment.
6. NatureSmart (naturalist intelligence) -- the knowing that occurs in encounters with animals, plants, physical features, and climate conditions of the natural world.
7. PeopleSmart (interpersonal intelligence) -- uses person-to-person relating, advice,0, teamwork, and collaboration with others.
SelfSmart (intrapersonal intelligence) -- the knowing which comes from brooding,0, self-reflection, and adopting,0 questions about life's averaging and intention.
So what this manner for you is that you are much, much more than you ( and other people) are probably giving yourself credit for! Starting today, learn to access and use always the intelligence you accept,0.
