s article will focus on the directing career of the great Ron Howard. Mr. Howard has had his fair share of acting in his career, but when all is said and done [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he will be remembered as a great director, not actor. Well, maybe people will also remember him as Opie on The Andy Griffith Show.
But what have been his best movies? Here are some of my favorites.
The first movie that I will put on this list is Frost/Nixon. This movie is somewhat of a recap of the interview that took place between David Frost, a British TV personality, and the ex-president Richard Nixon. Frank Langella was spectacular in this movie.
It is tough to make a list of Ron Howard movies without giving some love to Cinderella Man. This movie tells the story of the boxer Jim Braddock, who rose against the odds during the great depression.
Apollo 13 is another film that was one of my favorites from director Ron Howard. This movie took audiences into space and in such a way that made us feel as if we were there. The plot was not farfetched, and to call this film science fiction does not feel right.
Another films that has to be included on a list of the best Ron Howard movies is The Da Vinci Code. For nothing else, this movie makes the cut just because of how big a task it was to take on. This is one of the most popular books in recent memory, and Howard did it justice on the big screen.
The best Ron Howard film of all [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], however, is A Beautiful Mind. The accolades of this movie speak for itself. A Beautiful Mind gave Ron Howard his two (his only two) Academy Awards; one for Best Director [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and of course, one for Best Picture of the Year.
It is clear after going trough Ron Howard's catalog of movies that he has directed some great films.
