Thecrackismodeledasarotationalspring. AfastalgorithmispresentedtOsolvetheinverseproblem. Thenthegraphsofspringstiffnessversuscracklocationareplot-tedforeachnaturalfrequency. Thepointofintersectionofthecurvesgivesthelocationofthecrack. Thenumericalexampleindicatesthatcurrentmethodiseffectiveandaccurate.
