This docu-drama gives viewers a close look inside the lives of the Manson group. It’s an interesting look at a group of people who terrified the city of Los Angeles for several days in 1979.

Charles Manson was an ego-centric maniacal man who thought he would take over the world. He felt there was a race war coming and everyone would be killed, and afterward he and his family would take over. He had his followers believing he was a god-like figure who knew everything. They would do anything he asked. And Manson also thought the Beatles were singing directly to him in their song Helter Skelter. This man was in serious need of mental treatment.

Although Melcher had moved out of his house at 10050 Cielo Drive in Beverly Hills jordan 11 grey, Manson targeted the current occupants. Forty years ago Charles Manson (played in this History Channel docu-drama by Adam Wilson) and his followers, otherwise known as the Manson Family, committed some of the most heinous murders in the history of Los Angeles. This show recreates the life and times of these people through interviews from those who were there and were part of the infamous group.
Manson thought he could make it big in the recording industry and befriended Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys who introduced Charles Manson to Terry Melcher, a producer for The Byrds and others. Manson felt it was his time to rise in the industry. But that was not to be. He felt betrayed by Wilson and especially Melcher jordan 11, who never took him on as a client. |
